EXTREMELY RARE KNOLL AND PREGIZER'KP' DRGM German Antique Vintage Art Deco Diamond Paste Sapphire Paste Fine 935 Sterling Silver Dress Clip Brooch Pin. Perfect for a COLLECTOR or for ANY Special Occasion.

The Dress Clip will come in a little Ribbon Tied Box and would make a GORGEOUS GIFT! An Extremely RARE and stunning Antique Art Deco KNOLL AND PREGIZER 935 Fine Sterling Silver Diamond Paste Dress Clip.

Beautifully made and quite dazzling. There is a vibrant Bristol blue glass paste stone to the centre, imitating a sapphire. The diamond pastes are in open back settings and all are present. The only thing worth mentioning is that one of the pastes has been glued back into its setting at some point. There are signs of a small amount of glue on the reverse, but this is not visible from the front.

The clip mechanism is strong and working well. Signed on the reverse'KP' for Knoll & Pregizer and'DRGM' for a patented design under the German Reich government.

A rare find indeed - a real Collector's item. Knoll & Pregizer was founded in Pforzheim Germany in 1887, where they produced exquisite hand-made jewellery. Each piece was handcrafted from sterling silver, using the finest paste and imitation (glass) stones, mimicking platinum, diamonds and other precious stones incredibly well.

The pieces were constructed exactly as a piece of fine jewellery would be. This dress clip is a fabulous example of their work. Approximate Measurements: 1" x 0.75". Very difficult to show how dazzlingly beautiful the blue stone is when it catches the light - the photos don't do it justice!
