The Brooch will come in a Little Ribbon Tied Box and would make a GORGEOUS GIFT! A really beautiful antique sterling silver Art Nouveau design silver and carnelian brooch, by renowned silversmith Bernard Instone.

The brooch is in fantastic condition, with no damage - it has obviously been treasured. The brooch is set with a large genuine carnelian cabochon - you can see the striations on the enlarged pictures, particularly the one on its side. The silver has a lovely aged patina, so I haven't cleaned it. It is stamped simply'silver' on the reverse. It isn't signed, which is not unusual as much of Instone's work wasn't.

The brooch has an antique hinge and fastens with a safety catch, which is secure. Highly sought after and collectable. Measures approximately: 1 1/8" x 5/8". In Excellent Antique/Vintage Condition All items are also listed elsewhere - so first come, first served.
